WSET® Level 3 in Wines course program

This WSET® Level 3 wine course, lasting 30 hours (including a 2.5-hour exam) with tastings of over 60 wines from around the world, is led by a WSET®-certified specialist.

The course explores in depth the natural and human factors that influence the style, quality, and character of wines. You will study the world’s major wine regions, their iconic grape varieties, and their characteristic styles. You will also learn how to use WSET® advanced sensory analysis to accurately describe, compare, and evaluate wines.

This comprehensive program will enable you to develop an expert perspective on global wine production.

Assessment & Certification

The WSET® Level 3 Award in Wines consists of a closed-book theory exam (multiple-choice and short-answer questions) and a blind tasting of two wines according to WSET® standards.

Once you have passed the exam, you will receive the internationally recognized WSET® Level 3 certificate.

This WSET® Level 3 wine certificate is the gateway to higher WSET® levels (Level 4: Diploma) and advanced professional training.
